As you get to farer and farer planets, it will become darker and darker, just like shown on the map.
At a very far planet from the sun, there wouldn't be so many natural light. And simple glowstone torches are not the best sulotion for ever darkness. If a reflector, that is like a glowing block, working with electricity, would be added, you could light large areas against the ever darkness.
Also, solar energy, that works well with one advanced solar panel on earth, may could not produce so high electricity on dark planets. And crafting tons of advanced solar panels or basic solar panels, both need lots of raw material. A simple block, that produces electricity could be produced in large numbers, and they also look like very cool.
Of course in a better space station. This one isn't mine. You could fill up your batteries in a solar energy producer space station or base, to make light in all-time darkness planets.
