That kind of ruins the idea of airlocks, having two, separated air locks is just part of exploring worlds beyond our own without oxygen.

I like that texture, it keeps it simple while adding more to the buggy, this needs to make it in!

What about the original buggy texture, it does have a solar panel. Maybe if this could be implemented, have this as a placeholder texture, until a retexture is needed?
