I bet you all are using recent versions of galacticraft. There is a reason why they are marked red on the download-page. They are unstable in the moment and MicDoodle will fix this soon. So just wait for a stable build (it's recompiled daily). Most problems will be fixed then.

You should report this as a Bug

Remember that all the versions for 1.6.2 are stil in development and it could be that they are a little bit unstable.

You can download the current Mecanized Build. Then you can extract it to your desktop and copy /coremods/UE.Galacticcraft.jar to your Minecraft Folder. If this doesn't help, you should give us your ForgeModLoader log-files.
