Well i have a list of ideas that they could be on mars:
(English is not my main language and i don´t manage it in a excellent way.)
Ideas for "graphical" changes on mars:
- Make mars atmosphere more real like a red one instead of black.
- Takeoff mars image (well on all the planets in general)
- Mars Moons (not reachable with the spaceship, only visible)
Ideas for in game situations:
- Another Martian mob (hostile) with cities and treasures on them.
- Meteors Falling (rarely) with new materials.
- Some Ice under the surface (rarely too).
- Some silicon and iron on mars (on caves and under the surface (more common)).
- An methane compressor and an gas energy generator (mars have large amounts of methane to use it as fuel for making energy).

Blackgod listen... Ice is on mars but not in underground. Marsians on Mars? I'm not sure from your idea. But the Mars moons is very good plan.
There's tons of ice in different places on Mars. When people actually end up going to Mars, they'll be able to get tons of water by practically pinking up rocks and squeezing them. They can drink the water and also turn it into oxygen and fuel.
NOTE: The squeezing a rock thing is something scientists (mainly Neil Degrasse Tyson I think) are using to help paint a picture of how abundant the water found my Curiosity is on Mars. It's everywhere, but we couldn't see it before because most of it is in the Martian soil.
has there been a request for an addon to make planets via a central mod but with planets/dimensions based on config files.

-Fix terminal volcity when falling because it should not slow you down you keep speeding up or just make a max velocity but make it much more plz.

Just some friendly feedback, but these should probably be in their own Suggestions thread. This thread is intended to list out ideas that have been suggested several times so that the same suggestions don't keep popping up.

First of all: Why do you wanna make the planets circels if it is Minecraft?
It's is not possible to make a perfect nasa spaceshuttle and making a rocket itself is hard enough

Falling asteroids are possible to code, I've seen two mods do it.
Black holes can be coded, I've seen one mod do it.
Meteor showers can be coded, I've seen several mods do this.
It's all VERY possible, just something we don't want because this isn't star wars and circles.
