Oil? where are you?

I know that oil is found between level 20 and 30... but, when i digged for 25 chunks and I didn't found nothing I thought that there is a problem! please help me!

the gc version i'm using is gc3 build 149, I know this is an incomplete version, but if is possible to fix say me!

Yes, i had the same problem. If you create new world and then install galacticraft, the world get broken and in that world you will never find an oil.
Try to cut your base using MCedit and recreate your world. Or install buildcraft. url: http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/download/ That mod adds oil lakes and springs too.

I've installed gc and then create a new world, but still doesn't exist! Now I try with buildcraft. thank you

Guys which exact versions of Galacticraft were you using when the world was created? Please confirm.

There was a change in the way oil generates in version 3.0.0.150 which I can see had a major bug, this will be fixed in 3.0.0.156. But we did not change anything in 3.0.0.149 or before...

I use 3.0.0.149 because there's not the download of after version...
