First, lets explain how Solar eclipses will work. During a solar eclipse, on the moon you will see a large shadow, darkest at the center, and lighter as it goes outward. On Earth, you would see the moon blocking the sun. The moon would look like a new moon, otherwise that would be unrealistic. It is always night on the moon during a solar eclipse. It wont really be visible until the moon covered the sun halfway, but it is still slightly visible before that. I do not want to bore you out so lets move to a lunar eclipse.
On Earth, the moon would appear with a reddish tint, and on the moon, the earth would of covered the sun, and it would be dark. The lunar eclipse occurs every 20 days, and a solar eclipse is every 200 days.
