how about they make it so that you can put a space station next to the sun. you would have to wear thermal padding, due to the immense heat of being so close to the sun, and solar panels would generate twice as much power, also things like wood, wool and leaves would catch fire. this also can relate to a way for transporting energy in larger quantities like making it so that you can break a filled Energy Storage Module without losing all the power in it or a special type of transport spaceship specialized for power transport

I haven't played with the Energy beams, but making them work cross dimensionally (if possible) might be cool. Just have the sun station emit energy beams in the right direction so that you can capture/redirect them into a receiver at another space station.

hmm...it would require you to point the energy beam in a different direction for each station or Planet or asteroid. you could have preset coordinates for each station or planet which could open a path for making planets or stations that do not orbit a star like they got separated from their stars or something.

Well its a good idea, but theres a flaw in it. Your also gonna need materials to make the blocks and machines that resists extreme heat that is the sun, and maybe some sun resistant air conditioners. Or the second you build anything it will probably melt. If it can melt (if its implemented)
