Is there any way I can change the texture of the sky in galacticraft? I'd rather make it to look more realistic.
Yes, try to extract galacticraft using winrar and find the sky picture. Then make a resource pack with new sky.
My SSD is in service, so I cant operate with my pc, now. Try to google for "custom minecraft sky resourse pack".
GC skies are procedurally generated, that is, generated by the code itself on the fly. You can't change them by replacing graphics or by using resource packs. At least for the time being.I already have a resource pack with a custom sky. The thing is, galacticraft has a different sky texture than the overworld for dimensions like the moon.

This?I remember you posted a screenshot of Mars having a realistic-looking sky.
This?
This base was built on the Overworld and I used my resource pack with a help of @Space Viking.
Not in a planned update, but in a To-do list: http://forum.micdoodle8.com/index.p...e-galacticraft-stars-made-of.5136/#post-37118Is there any planned update to include a sky which you can change, like an image file used for the sky?
