Is there any way at all to make wool sealable?

Basically i've used wool to make red and white highlights on my moon base, only to learn that it isn't sealable, and apparently cannot simply be added to the ID list, since it is a vanilla block.

Is there anything i can do about this?

It's not because they are vanilla blocks, it's because they are ... wool.

Don't build moon bases (or space stations, or spacecraft etc) out of wool. It's never a good idea....

If you have a mod installed which has "facades" or cover plates or some other kind of thin panel, you could maybe use those to cover up the wool blocks from the inside, so that the base is still sealed.
