How do I install on Minecraft 1.4.7?

How do I install Galacticraft on Minecraft 1.4.7? When I download it for 1.4.7, it gives me a .zip file, which I can't put into the coremods folder nor mods folder. Please help? A step-by-step list would be helpful for me and other people who have 1.4.7.
