Hi!
Over the past 4 weeks, I've been working on a new world I started with galacticraft and some other mods.
I started using the WorldPainter tool for minecraft, so a lot of the terrain you see (even on the moon) is custom.
Anyway..... in the end i think it came out pretty well, so heres a list of all of my bases.
The Freeciv Space Center
The Freeciv Space Center is heavily modeled after the Kennedy Space Center in florida, that of which I had the great opportunity to see up close. After seeing this massive building, I was inspired to recreate it in minecraft
Bessel Base V.2.0
Bessel Base V.2.0 is the child of the original Bessel Base, lost in a horrible landing accident. This version is much more up-to-date and even has a working clone batch! (Sync mod) I used custom generation and worldedit to slightly lower the terrain and build crater walls around it, in an effort to make it look like it was inside of a crater. And hey, is that someone in the distance?
(Cool picture i took of my friend M0bjack who helped me a lot with this)
Unity Station
Unity station is a pile of modules stacked on to eachother, and the end result is definitely not what I expected. While it looks rather cool, it definitely doesn't compare to my old station, the Interminecraftial GEO Space Rig.
Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this little playlist of my space bases. Happy colonizing!
