Astro Miner Base cannot connect to any pipes for item extraction, works only with hoppers

I've already opened a GitHub issue. But I figured I'd also open a thread just to see if anyone know much or had experience this.

Minecraft version: 1.12.2
Galacticraft version: GalacticraftCore-1.12.2-4.0.1.177

Single player (SSP), Multiplayer (SMP), or SSP opened to LAN (LAN)?
SMP

Galacticraft add-ons and other mods installed?
Galacticraft-Planets-1.12.2-4.0.1.177.jar
GalacticraftCore-1.12.2-4.0.1.177.jar
ExtraPlanets-1.12.2-0.3.8.jar

Please provide screenshots / crash report / log as needed.

As described with title.
Some pipes visually connects to the block. Except Ender IO and Embers
Pipes tried: Ender IO, Embers, Extra Utilities 2, Thermal Dynamics, Embers

Can you try updated to the latest versions? I know there have been some compatibility issues with EIO and both teams are working on fixes, I just don't know if they have been propagated out to available downloads as of yet.

I've actually tested it using the most current build last night our dev server.
The problem still persist.
From what I can gather from the change log, it's mostly cosmetic changes.

I just want to make it clear that it's not just an Ender IO issue. No pipes from any mods works with the Astro Miner base at all, even if they visually connect. None will work.
