Compatibility with Better Portals?

Has anyone had any luck with getting GalacticCraft to work with the better portals mod? It's a mod that allows you to see through portals and avoid the loading screen. GalacticCraft seems to have issues with it since whenever I try to go to a planet, the game just freezes on the loading screen for the planet. Doesn't crash or anything, perfectly responding. Just doesn't actually spawn the player.

This has already been reported. https://github.com/micdoodle8/Galacticraft/issues/3835 However, the fix is likey abandoned as the team is likey focusing on the next major version of Galacticraft.

I have used Better Portals mod to bypass the loading screen to go between planets. Here's how to do it: Set up nether portals on the planets you want to go to (you must do it in a sealed room or within an oxygen bubble or it will not work). Then, light the portal and hopefully when you do this again on another planet, the corresponding portal in the nether might spawn nearby the first portal you made on the previous planet (to aid with this, make the portal a specific shape).
