Download incomplete?!

Hello, so recently I downloaded galacticraft (all packages) of your reccomended build, 257. I am using minecraft 1.7.10, with Forge build 1291. When I launch Minecraft, I get a popup saying that the download is incomplete, and that I should redownload galacticraft. I click ignore, and then Minecraft starts up with the following Forge error message: "Forge Mod Loader has found a problem with your Minecraft installation. The mods and versions listed below could not be found. GalacticraftCore: any. The file 'ForgeModLoader-client-0.log' file contains more information." Redownload Galacticraft like the popup advises.

I did that two times already to no avail. Besides, it did download all the way without interuption.

Sorry, my guidance to redownload was not appropriate. It appears you are trying to use a 1.7.10 version of Galacticraft in Minecraft 1.6.4. I'm pretty amazed it even gets as far as giving you that error message!

You must either:

A) download the Latest 1.6.4 version of Galacticraft and use that (not the 1.7.10 version you have now)

or:

B) update your Minecraft to 1.7.10 and then use a 1.7.10 Forge version

Your pick.
