I think it would be beneficial to the community if players were allowed to comment/edit posted bug reports. That way if someone realizes it was not Galacticraft or if they have added information they can add it in. Also, if it is an easily fixed bug/faq, you could allow other members to point the poster in the right direction or tell them how to fix it.
However, I anticipate you saying (by you I mean the staff) that it would lead to a bunch of spam "me too" or "same here" posts on the thread. I however do not think that would be the case, and I think it is worthwhile to allow the editing.
Don't mind the rambling: I can never get my point across quickly or effectively. A job for english class next year.
