Nope, bytes as in bytes. Byte is a word. Bits and Bytes is also, well was, the name of two Canadian educational television series that taught the basics of how to use a personal computer. But I don't expect anything related to tutorials or computers.

bits. Small asteriods bytes big asteriods. Also search in github you will see steel walkway block asteriods icons etc. Thats why.

I didn't necessarily say it stangles you, upon first contact it grabs your ship, then one of its varying attacks could be strangling.
