GC-Minechem Collaboration

Greetings,

I know not all of you are familiar with MineChem, to which I suggest you read about before this post, as it will make more sense if you do.

But if you already know, here's the idea

Why not make certain GC Blocks useful in MineChem?

• It adds more of an incentive to dig for certain blocks
• Makes the mod more interesting
• Adds in a feeling of scientific research

Of course, what blocks will I be discussing mainly?

• Planetary-Specific Blocks

To explain this simply, I will use a comparison model for Planet Blocks, to Earth Blocks


In case you are confused

• Grass Block(Earth) = Lunar Turf = Mars Surface Rock
• Dirt = Moon Dirt = Mars Subsurface Rock
• Stone = Moon Rock = Mars Stone

I am also planning on adding Vines, but at a later point.

Of course, what would the recipes be in MineChem for these blocks?

Moon

• Surface: Oxygen, Silicon, Aluminum, Helium 3(Alternate Fuel Source to Oil?)
• Sub-Surface: Oxygen, Silicon, Aluminum, Iron
• Underground: Oxygen, Silicon, Iron, Small chance of Magnesium

Mars

• Surface: Iron Oxide, Carbon
• Sub-Surface: Iron Oxide, Carbon
• Underground: Iron Oxide, Carbon, Small chance of Water Chemicals

I am welcoming anyone who would like to suggest more ideas.

I will at some point begin work on this, I just thought I should show you guys this
