What if, instead of having to bring a temperature suit to your base, you could just hook up a heat sealer or a heat bubble? It would require an oxygen system set up already, an internal resource of oxygen to burn for heat or an internal resource of liquid nitrogen to cool.
It'd make having a space home a lot more convenient, and if the ability to bring animals to space is added then you could set up a farm or dog breeding chamber.

I was thinking this would work by adding a variable to the breathable air blocks that is set to 0 (false) by default, 1 for heat and 2 for cold. The heat sealer/heat bubble would loop through the oxygen blocks in its radius and set these accordingly.

Edit: Also, perhaps heat would be required for plants to grow? Would make going to space harder than bringing a few saplings and seeds.

Some planets have extremely variable temperatures, going way into the negatives and then above 300 degrees in just a day. The heater should also be hooked up to a heat sensor, which detects the heat and keeps it at a steady level. Also, a cooler could be a good idea also, to be used during the hot period or on hot planets
