when i launch it micdoodlecore installs but it cant get basic components in and if i go to site given by it wont work please help

My suggestion would be to backup your minecraft folder, then wipe it clean and start from scratch. Sometimes mods leave things behind, and that can cause issues. Also to help you any further.

You need to post your error logs, MC version, GC version, and forge.
Without those, it is hard to discern your problem

no crash report it just says cant download basic components try restarting or check you internet connection or download it manually. im connected i tried restarting and downloading it and nothing works

mc 1.6.2, latest galacticraft recomended forge

The problem is with your internet, or computer. I can't help you much further without any logs. You seem to be the ONLY one having this problem. I've seen something similar once before, but when downloaded manually, and placed properly it works. If you don't have a ForgeModLoader-client.log, then I doubt that your forge is installed correctly.

Try loading Minecraft without GC. Just Forge, and see what you get.
