how to find a moon/mars dungeon?

I need to find a moon dungeon to go to Mars, and there I need to find a mars dungeon to go to the next planet (when it had been added).

Search for deep craters. I'm not sure just how common they are, but I found one on the edge of my visible range with normal render distance.
