Improved Martian terrain generation

    So this is what Mars terrain currently looks like:

    I think the terrain looks too smooth, unrefined and blank. On the real Mars there is many differences in terrain. Like Tharsis, the Borealis basin, the southern highlands ect. It would be cool, if you could set up Martian generation into different types of biomes like "Martian plains" "Highlands" "Huge Volcano" "basalt plains" and pherhaps make the actual terrain a bit more rough and unpredictable. Like crater tops that have collapsed in some places, cliff height variances, flat plains, old flow channels, ect ect

    I'm no minecraft modder myself, so I don't know how this would be implemented. But hope you'll consider!
