Intelligent alien race and new weapons.

Instead of making dungeons which is quite normal, why not implement an intelligent alien race which uses weapons, has colonies on some planets etc. It seems more interesting then just dungeons. Then you can use materials you get from killing them to make weapons like a Sonic shotgun or a laser rifle for example.

I'd prefer a normal rifle to laser rifles. I don't plan on playing with cats with my awesome new laser rifle.
