Io; Moon of Jupiter. Looks like a spherical pizza to people. This is my suggestion on the most volcanic moon, and one of the largest known moons orbiting Jupiter.
Io.jpg

The blocks of Io would consists of Orthopyroxenite, Block of Sulfur, and Block of Silicate, and Basalt. Because of image limits, images are cramped together. Orthopyroxenite drops itself, Block of Sulfur drops Sulfur, Block of Silicate drops Silicate, and Basalt drops Basalt Cobblestone.
IoComposition.png

Orthopyroxenite would be able to be crafted in to salt.
Sulfur can be used as a fertilizer and potion ingredient.
Fertilized dirt is to make plants grow faster, and leaves decay slower.
Silicate can be made in to Silicate Glass, extra durable glass to withstand the impact of debris or explosions of creepers. Helpful in GC3.
Salt can be used as a brewing item in Alchemy.
Basalt can be made in to bricks! It's found mostly at volcanoes, pateraes, and underground.

Silicate Glass weakens every hit or when broken. Slightly Damaged, Moderately Damaged, Heavily Damaged. They can stack to 64 of the same damaged typed. A pickaxe is required to break the glass swiftly and without completely destroy the glass, silk touch doesn't degrade the glass.

Silicate Glass Panes are made by 6 Silicate Glass, and reward 8 Silicate Glass Panes.

Silicate Glass Bowls are made with 3 panes in a \_/ and give 3 bowls.

Silicate Glass Buckets are made in the same format, but the bottom block is a Silicate Glass Block instead of a pane. You get 2 buckets.

Silicate Glass Vases are made in the same format, and reward you with 2 vases. The difference is all the blocks are Silicate Glass, not panes.

Biomes!
  • Volcano
  • Lava Flow
  • Lava River
  • Lava Pool
  • Paterae
  • Impact Crater
6.5 new biomes would be added, just for Io!
The volcano would be a natural structure of basalt and filled with lava. Lava would flow out the top, sides, and bottom of the volcano! There would be bits of basalt lying around the volcano. Volcanoes would be easy to find, but not super common. Volcanoes are always made of basalt.
Lava flows are large flows of lava coming out of a volcano spreading around the volcano. These are common around volcanoes and could be counted as a secondary biome, one inside another that doesn't have an actual name. These are slightly more common than volcanoes. There is always basalt around lava flows, along with whatever blocks are nearby.
Lava Rivers are rivers of lava coming from a lava pool, going in to a lava pool. They act like vanilla rivers, but with lava. These are slightly more rare than lava pools. Lava rivers have whatever blocks that are nearby on the sides of the river.
Lava Pools are like oceans or ponds/lakes in vanilla Overworld. They can vary in size and can take up large amounts of space. These are in between rare and common. Lava pools can have different materials around them.
Paterae are impact craters filled with lava and have rough edges and smooth walls. The lava isn't at the top of the crater. These are more common than craters, because of how Io works. Paterae has basalt and other materials around them.
Impact Craters are craters where asteroids, comets, or meteors hit Io. These are rare as Io hasn't been around as long and has been hit less. Impact craters have random nlocks on Io scattered around, as if something large hit Io and threw the blocks around. Basalt is possible to be found here.
Surface is the extra bit that could be its own biome, or just several biomes for each of the materials that make up Io.

New potions? That is right! Salt and Sulfur can be used to make new potions! Now, what does this have to do with GalactiCraft? Well, it gives the new blocks a purpose, and helps you out on Mars, and other planets, hopefully. These potions follow how potions in vanilla are done, a potion chart and crafting image is at the end. If you're wondering why there is no Potion of Repellent II + or Potion of Insecticide II +, that is because those are creative only items not yet available for Survival mode. Micdoodle8 can add special ones if he wants, that is not on me to suggest, since only 2 or 3 vanilla potions have that.
  • Potion of Repellent :
Time - 180 Seconds (3:00)
Range - 3x3x3
Effect - Keeps insects and bacteria away from the player.

  • Potion of Repellent + :
Time - 300 Seconds (5:00)
Range 3x3x3
Effect - Keeps insects and bacteria away from the player.

  • Potion of Repellent II :
Time - 90 Seconds (1:30)
Range - 7x7x7x
Effect - Keeps insects and bacteria away from the player.

  • Splash Potion of Repellent :
Time - 60 Seconds (1:00)
Flee Time - 15 Seconds (0:15)
Block Time - 20 Seconds (0:20)
Range - 5x5x5
Effect - Keeps insects and bacteria away from splashed mobs, blocks, and players. Splashed bacteria and insects will move around aimlessly.

  • Potion of Insecticide :
Time - 45 Seconds (0:45)
Flee Time - 3 Seconds (0:03)
Damage Time - 1.5 Seconds (30 Ticks)
Base Damage - 1 Damage (Half a Heart)
End Damage - 2 Damage (1 Heart)
Effect - Bacteria or insects that attack the player are hurt in return and flee.

  • Potion of Insecticide + :
Time - 60 Seconds (0:60)
Flee Time - 6 Seconds (0:06)
Damage Time - 1.5 Seconds (30 Ticks)
Base Damage - 1 Damage (Half a Heart)
End Damage - 4 Damage (2 Hearts)
Effect - Bacteria or insects that attack the player are hurt in return and flee.

  • Potion of Insecticide II :

Flee Time - 6 Seconds (0:06)
Damage Time - 1 Second (20 Ticks)
Base Damage - 1 (Half a Heart)
End Damage - 6 (3 Hearts)
Effect - Bacteria or insects that attack the player are hurt in return and flee.

  • Splash Potion of Insecticide :

Time - 45 Seconds (0:45)
Flee Time - 2 Seconds (0:02)
Damage Time - 2 Seconds (40 Ticks)
Base Damage - 1 Damage (Half a Heart)
End Damage - 2 Damage (1 Heart)
Effect - Bacteria or insects that attack the player are hurt in return and flee.

Editing so you know the difference in recipes for bucket, bowl, and vase. Because the textures are the same for the glass block and pane.
Also, the rectangle with a hollow square is the model of the flower pot.

Edit Completed.

Should it have oxygen? According to the internet its made of sulfur dioxide gas, What if you could farm the gas to make a fuel? The "hyper" fuel could be used in a higher tier rocket, allowing you to reach other planets (or) systems farther out. (or just Faster/Requires less)

Hmm. That could be helpful. What would farm such a thing?

One of the things I like with this suggestion is it's expanding one of Minecraft's vanilla features, namely the Brewing Stand, with more exotic ingredients to use.

Maybe the Oxygen Collector could be redone, it could collect whatever you said as long as no gases where in it. Then you could move gases to storage and use them for whatever you need.

Otherwise could sulfur dioxide be harvested from whitish frost layers associated with volcanic biomes. Still, I like the idea of adjusting the Oxygen Collector into an multi-purpose gas extractor. It could then for example be used for extracting fuel from Titan's atmosphere.

I think it would be better to just make a whole different collector, but with the ability to use the pipes and tank compressor for storage (in tanks). Maby an added condenser, that filters out the particles in the air.

Other option:
What if it was an air Purifier? It pumped air out of a pipe that you could breath, and then deposit dusts and such in its inventory. This would be like a tier two Oxygen Collector

This was what encouraged me to start messing with potions, for the first time! I hope the potion properties and the enhancements are done properly.
