Io; Moon of Jupiter. Looks like a spherical pizza to people. This is my suggestion on the most volcanic moon, and one of the largest known moons orbiting Jupiter.
The blocks of Io would consists of Orthopyroxenite, Block of Sulfur, and Block of Silicate, and Basalt. Because of image limits, images are cramped together. Orthopyroxenite drops itself, Block of Sulfur drops Sulfur, Block of Silicate drops Silicate, and Basalt drops Basalt Cobblestone.
Orthopyroxenite would be able to be crafted in to salt.
Sulfur can be used as a fertilizer and potion ingredient.
Fertilized dirt is to make plants grow faster, and leaves decay slower.
Silicate can be made in to Silicate Glass, extra durable glass to withstand the impact of debris or explosions of creepers. Helpful in GC3.
Salt can be used as a brewing item in Alchemy.
Basalt can be made in to bricks! It's found mostly at volcanoes, pateraes, and underground.
Silicate Glass weakens every hit or when broken. Slightly Damaged, Moderately Damaged, Heavily Damaged. They can stack to 64 of the same damaged typed. A pickaxe is required to break the glass swiftly and without completely destroy the glass, silk touch doesn't degrade the glass.
Silicate Glass Panes are made by 6 Silicate Glass, and reward 8 Silicate Glass Panes.
Silicate Glass Bowls are made with 3 panes in a \_/ and give 3 bowls.
Silicate Glass Buckets are made in the same format, but the bottom block is a Silicate Glass Block instead of a pane. You get 2 buckets.
Silicate Glass Vases are made in the same format, and reward you with 2 vases. The difference is all the blocks are Silicate Glass, not panes.
Biomes!
- Volcano
- Lava Flow
- Lava River
- Lava Pool
- Paterae
- Impact Crater
The volcano would be a natural structure of basalt and filled with lava. Lava would flow out the top, sides, and bottom of the volcano! There would be bits of basalt lying around the volcano. Volcanoes would be easy to find, but not super common. Volcanoes are always made of basalt.
Lava flows are large flows of lava coming out of a volcano spreading around the volcano. These are common around volcanoes and could be counted as a secondary biome, one inside another that doesn't have an actual name. These are slightly more common than volcanoes. There is always basalt around lava flows, along with whatever blocks are nearby.
Lava Rivers are rivers of lava coming from a lava pool, going in to a lava pool. They act like vanilla rivers, but with lava. These are slightly more rare than lava pools. Lava rivers have whatever blocks that are nearby on the sides of the river.Lava Pools are like oceans or ponds/lakes in vanilla Overworld. They can vary in size and can take up large amounts of space. These are in between rare and common. Lava pools can have different materials around them.
Paterae are impact craters filled with lava and have rough edges and smooth walls. The lava isn't at the top of the crater. These are more common than craters, because of how Io works. Paterae has basalt and other materials around them.Impact Craters are craters where asteroids, comets, or meteors hit Io. These are rare as Io hasn't been around as long and has been hit less. Impact craters have random nlocks on Io scattered around, as if something large hit Io and threw the blocks around. Basalt is possible to be found here.
Surface is the extra bit that could be its own biome, or just several biomes for each of the materials that make up Io.New potions? That is right! Salt and Sulfur can be used to make new potions! Now, what does this have to do with GalactiCraft? Well, it gives the new blocks a purpose, and helps you out on Mars, and other planets, hopefully. These potions follow how potions in vanilla are done, a potion chart and crafting image is at the end. If you're wondering why there is no Potion of Repellent II + or Potion of Insecticide II +, that is because those are creative only items not yet available for Survival mode. Micdoodle8 can add special ones if he wants, that is not on me to suggest, since only 2 or 3 vanilla potions have that.
