    This photo is how I always envisioned space stations should look. I love that subtle blur at the edges!

    This thread is amazing, keep up the good work people!

    Interesting while I was playing another game with a scrolling sky beneath, I remembered that picture above and what the Overworld might look like scrolling beneath the space station:


    It's between 0:10 and 0:30.

    I have not forgotten about this. There has been progress in 1.8.9 early betas, we now have much faster local area mapping which is multi-threaded so it doesn't impact server performance too much. I expect we will probably be able to implement some of the ideas discussed here in 1.8.9* over coming months.


    * It's likely that everything in 1.8.9 will also be in 1.10.2 and 1.11 versions of the mod, if all goes well these may be ready about the same time than 1.8.9 is ready for release.

    How to activate this ? :O Maybe with /kopernicusrules ? No, but really. How to activate. Maybe even decompile and change one line of code, to make it active ? I wanna know !
