What if there was a new way to travel, only for between multiple galaxies? Like you launch your rocket, and you can only go to the furthest planet, but then you get there, and instead of putting you into the atmosphere, if you have a high enough Tier rocket, it would actually ask you if you want to engage a new kind of system: The vaccuum dock. Basically, you have 2 buttons: one that says to engage, and head to a new dimension, explain in a sec, and one that says not to engage, and instead head to the planet below.
Now, explanation of the first: If you press it, then you will load a new dimension. Basically just a complete, enclosed and "(inside at least) woolen space station with no gravity. you head through and find the control room, and from there, you have the Intergalactic Destination Selection menu (Basically just a much bigger version of the planet selection screen we have now). You right click the block, and it brings up a GUI, from which you can select a galaxy. When you press it, it brings up a message thing like the countdown, which says, "Enter cryo pod and prepare for departure!" You go to a cryo pod (basically just a retextured version of the mars beds), right click, and then there's a countdown, at the end of which you 'freeze', with a chat message of "[Playername] has entered Cryo sleep." Then it loads the new galaxy, and you hop out, and head to the rocket again, then you have a new version of the planet selection GUI, where only the current galaxy is available Simple to do, cos in the simplest terms, it's just copying features and putting them together. There would also be the option to turn on gravity in the intergalactic pitstop, as it were, by way of a special lever. Then it's like being on a space station. No view of the outside world, tiny dimension with no monsters able to spawn, and oxygen as well. But no way to refill your own oxygen and no free energy either. Also no ability to build It could even be added in slowly, like you can go there and see the entire galaxy, and plan out your game. Also have a kind of computer you can do a 'diary' in xD
