*Release current content for 1.5*

This got me thinkering around, since i am playing the VOLTZ modpack from Technic with my friend.

the modpack includes an 1.5 version of Galacticraft, so i was thinking if it was possible to release an version

of galacticraft with the new content we have now. so the VOLTZ pack can update and we also have stuff like
mars and the new machines and wires.

i hope this is possible.

It COULD happen, but I doubt it will. It's hard enough to keep updating the mod to keep up with Mojang's updates. Backwards updating is probably not worth it when you consider the number of players that stay on old versions compared with those that update.

I added Galacticraft to a 1.6.4 mod pack with 174 mods and only had to change 4 ID numbers, so updating to 1.6.4 isn't hard. Most of the popular mods have 1.6.4 versions too, so you probably wouldn't lose any mods. Maybe Voltz has a 1.6.4 update too.
