Thought I'd share a couple of books I've read (well listened to the audiobooks as I drive a lot). I'm sure you guys have read or heard about these, but for those that haven't!

About a guy left behind on mars. He has to survive until a rescue mission can get to him. Set 'pretty much' today, not too distant future.

Set in the future, humans have colonised the inner solar system. Mars is being terraformed, people living in the asteroid belt etc. It's got a gritty 'realistic' feel to this universe. For example, no lasers, light speed. This is about... well... just read it
