It takes around 30 seconds to got to any dimension, you will also never know where you are landing and you also need to use fuel, so traveling back and forth is a bit of a pain, so what about a space elevator?
Space elevators would allow you to link 2 dimensions that are next to each other directly together, that allows you to more effeciently go to the space elevator, how would it work?
You would have to place space elevator pads in a 3x3 area on the overworld and upside-down (yes, upside down) on the dimension you would link them to, you would then select the frequency (both dimensions have to be the same for it to work), you notice a cable appears straight to space, you would then need to power one of the pads with electricity, you would then need to craft the elevator shaft workbench, and you would then need to craft the elevator shaft.
