A couple of new places I've thought up to explore after Mercury through Neptune. Each place has its own resources and properties.
Changes to current planets
Craftable Items and Crafting
[OL][OD][OL]
[G/D][OC]
- Space Station: Mainly a place for storage. Orbits the moon. About the size of a Village.
- Titan: For ethane and methane, which forms in large ponds, which can be crafted into long-lasting Rocket Fuel. This means that standard Rocket Fuel would only be able to propel you to Titan, no further. Titan has Superheated Ember ore, which can be crafted along with lava and Launch Pads to prevent your spaceship from freezing on the outer-most planets. Titan is inhabited by Volatile Algae, which are neutral colonies of green-yellow Algae, when you are attacked by them, they poison you for 5 seconds. They have 5 hearts of health. They drop Algae particles when killed, which can be substituted for Spider Eye to make a potion of poison. Titan consists mainly of Titan surface, which is a brown-black rock slightly harder than overworld dirt. 14% gravity.
- Europa: For crystallized ice, this ice has been refrozen over millions of years, meaning that you need a special drill to break through it. Underneath this ice lies water which, if entered without proper equipment, has the same effects on you as lava from the overworld does. Crystallized ice can be crafted into cryochambers, which can preserve food for long periods of time. (Any food not placed into a cryochamber will not last past Jupiter.) Crystallized Ice can also be crafted with a glass block to make Airlock Glass, which is a more resilient version of normal glass (as normal glass breaks on planets other than the overworld and the Moon). Europa has a few ores, iron spawns close to the surface buried in ice, redstone and aluminum can be found at the bottom of the ocean. Europe consists mainly of crystallized ice, which is a pinkish-blue ice which has the same properties as overworld obsidian (except it cannot be mined with a diamond pickaxe). At the bottom of the ocean is a scraggly mass of bedrock. 13% gravity. There are also mobs in the water, some hostile, some not.
- Europian Squid: same as overworld squid, but white.
- Europian Floater: Passive, intelligent creatures which spawn on the surface and live in ice caves. When right-clicked, they offer trades like overworld villagers, their main trade is 25 diamonds for a spaceship. They look identical to villages except they all wear pink-blue clothes to blend in with the ice. Their skin is a lighter brown than overworld villagers'. They also own small, enclosed farms which contain either trees or potatoes.
- Europain Bristleback: Hostile fish which skate along the underside of the ice, trying to get any sunlight they can. They drop Bristleback hide (same as leather) and raw beef.
- Europian Dweller: Neutral creatures which bounce along the bottom of the ocean, if attacked, they swarm like wolves in the overworld. When killed, they drop Dweller fuzz, which can be crafted into wool blocks or used as a substitute for gunpowder in TNT, as well as string.
- Europian Kite: Passive creatures that look like large baby Ocelots with white fur, they can be tamed with iron, aluminum, titanium, or gold ingot, as this is their food source.
- Make-make: For pulverized dust, this dust comes from meteors which have collided with Make-make over millions of years, this dust can be crafted into Lunar Fertilizer (which has the same effects as bonemeal), or Lunar Explosive (which is slightly more volatile and explosive than TNT, TNT cannot work in space because the fuse requires fire which cannot be light in space). Make-make also has charged flowers, which can be crafted into brown dye. It mainly consists of Make-make rock, a gray-red rock which can be mined with any pickaxe. Make-make is inhabited by an mysterious creature which can only be seen with the sensor goggles, these creatures fly and make sounds identical to ghasts but, even when viewed with sensor goggles, only their eyes and tentacles are visible, they drop 3-5 fire charges and rarely, 1 potion of invisibility. They have 20 hearts of health. 5% gravity.
- 90377 Sedna: The furthest out you can get, you can no longer see the sun. Taking off any space equipment here results in instant death. Sedna is inhabited by two creatures, Sednan Crystals, and Sednan Broods. Sednan Crystals are passive creatures which drop titanium, iron, aluminum, and rarely, diamond. They jump around aimlessly and when hit, they run about the same speed as an Ocelot. Sednan Crystals have 40 hearts of health, so they are fairly difficult to kill. Sednan Crystals die instantly when exposed to light over level 10. Sednan Broods are small, hostile creatures about the size of overworld Silverfish, they have 10 hearts of health and deal no damage to you, they do however, attack your spaceship and damage your spacesuit. They, like Sednan Crystals, also die when exposed to light over level 10, because of this, it is recommended you bring plenty of light-emitting blocks. It is so cold out here that you must place your spaceship on heated launch pads, or else it will freeze, and will not be usable. It is recommended that you bring a spare Spaceship here in case. 33% gravity.
- Comet: Past Sedna there is a comet which only appears once every Minecraft week. This comet contains ice, iron ore, stone, and aluminum ore. They are inhabited by Lunar Creepers, which are light blue versions of overworld creepers. Unlike creepers, they only have 15 hearts of health and only do half the explosion damage normal creepers do, however, they have a 5% chance of spawning supercharged. They drop gunpowder when killed. 2% gravity.

- Moon: Now has mines, only spawn near villages and are identical to mineshafts with the exception that they are made of nether fence and aluminum blocks. There is also a secure building that spawns overtop of the mine, this building spawns with a single tree and an air-filtration system.
- Jupiter: Jupiter has hostile Balloon Jellies which function the same as ghasts except that they make a more metallic sound. The "surface" of Jupiter is metallic hydrogen, which will instantly kill you if you touch it without a High-Pressure Heat Suit. Underneath this metallic hydrogen (which has the same properties as lava) is, naturally, bedrock. The metallic hydrogen is 80-100 layers deep. The metallic hydrogen can be collected with a bucket, however, once you leave Jupiter the hydrogen returns to gas form, leaving you with an empty bucket. Metallic hydrogen can be crafted with redstone to make Long-lasting Rocket Fuel. Metallic hydrogen is a gray-purple liquid. Upon arrival, the only solid block(s) on Jupiter is a small island made of a mangled space probe which sits on top of the metallic hydrogen. There may be numerous probes, but they are few and far between. The mangled space probe (which is built mainly from iron bars and stone slabs) can contain some of the following:
- An oxygen distributer
- An oxygen collector
- A block of iron
- A block of aluminum
- A block of titanium
- A chest filled with redstone items
- A dispenser filled with food or an iron pickaxe+shovel
- A chest with 5-7 leaf blocks and an apple
- A chest with one of the music discs and an empty star map (crafted with a map surrounded by redstone) (anyone get the reference?)
- A flag
Because of the nature of Jupiter's surface, you HAVE to watch out for your rescue chest, or else it will fall into the metallic hydrogen sea.
- Mars: Sandstorms and Dust Devils now appear. Dust Devils are a purely cosmetic feature and can be seen roaming the Martian landscape. Sandstorms, however, can and will hurt you. Sandstorms have the same effects on you as suffocation does on the overworld. In addition to this, Sandstorms will uproot any plants, remove redstone, and has the same effect on mobs that a sword with knockback 1 does. The only way to protect yourself is to get inside a shelter. Sensor Glasses also have a large red flashing "WARNING" on the top when a Sandstorm is approaching. Being in a Sandstorm also causes blindness for 30 seconds.

- Telescope - Crafted with 6 iron ingots in a parallel vertical lines with glass in the middle.
- High Pressure Heat Boat - Crafted like a boat but replace the wood with Superheated Ember block.
- Superheated Ember Block - Crafted like any other "block of x", has a red-brown color with charred corners.
